We created a marketing campaign with Pomelli by Google Labs in mere seconds: here’s how.

Pomelli AI with Google Labs is the equivalent of a genie for small businesses: give it your wishes, and it will fulfill your commands.

We’re not joking. All you have to do is give it your website URL or images to work with (the “business DNA”), give it a descriptive prompt, and it can create campaigns, photos, graphics, and more.

In this post, we’ll discuss how we used Pomelli to create a full marketing campaign with on-brand content.

In particular, we’ll cover the process from the start to the finish:

  • The Beginning: How we gave Pomelli the information it needed to produce an on-brand campaign for us, including brand assets, marketing assets, and more.
  • The Middle: The original outputs it gave us, along with the tweaks we added to it.
  • The End: The final campaign we produced.

Pomelli: The Beginning

To begin, we had to familiarize Pomelli with our brand.

We started by giving Pomelli our website URL, which contained many of our brand colors, fonts, assets, creatives, and logos.

Then, we gave it an internal document to generate a security-themed campaign. The document contained all of our core offerings: our first wave, which includes managed web application firewalls, SPF/DKIM/DMARC setup, registrar and DNS hardening, M365 tenant hardening, website backup and restore verification, CMS patching and maintenance, and an incident-readiness playbook.

And, our second wave, which includes phishing-resistant MFA rollout, protective DNS filtering, managed endpoint protection, external vulnerability scanning, M365 backup (verified), bot management, ZTNA, and zero-trust access.

Combined, these service descriptions gave Pomelli plenty of information to work with when developing social media assets for us.

Pomelli: The Middle

After giving Pomelli the building blocks of our brand identity and campaign idea, it produced a few infographic options for us.

We browsed the images and then asked it to animate a couple of the images it produced for us.

In response, it added 7-second motion effects to the infographics to make them more lively.  The effects zoomed in or out to create a dynamic effect and add more liveliness to the graphics.

What’s more, Pomelli even created a brand book and an entire website revamp for us using just our current website material. We couldn’t believe they offered these services for free!

The brand book included a brand overview that said, “Psycray is a Chicago-based B2B digital agency and AI consulting firm with over 23 years of experience. They specialize in custom AI solutions, web development, and digital marketing, creating intelligent systems and user-centric platforms designed to streamline business operations and drive growth for industries including e-commerce, education, and healthcare,” along with each of our brand colors.

It also generated brand logo ideas for us with variants, spacing options, and sizing guidelines.

Third, it offered typography options to help us maintain a consistent brand voice and tone, balancing hierarchy with readability. It reccommended the typefaces, “Roboto,” and “Open Sans,” for us.

Then, it gave us a color palette of ocean blue, pure white, jet black, and cobalt blue.

Finally, it included imagery and brand voice guidelines for us.

Pomelli: The Finished Product

Once we were happy with the final products in our campaign, we scheduled the social media infographics to go out in batches on LinkedIn, Facebook, and X using a social media management platform called Followr.ai.

We ended up with a full-fledged marketing campaign for our security services targeting business professionals.

Conclusion

While marketing campaigns still require some deep thinking and strategy on your part, you can significantly reduce production time by allowing AI to do some of the heaviest work for you.
